I know how that happens! Offhand comments have been the beginnings of several snowballing quests of mine through the years.

If you would like to see the kind of whacked-out stuff she writes, may I recommend The Night of the Poisonous Posey from The Wild Wild West. :) It was on YouTube last I knew, albeit I don't know if it still is. Sometime back I found those interviews you mentioned and read them in the hopes of finding information on that episode. She did mention something from it in passing, and oh wow, yes, a very unique and fascinating person indeed.

I do remember hearing about David introducing him to Jill. Yeah, it definitely worked out better for everyone when they married different people, but still completely gross. Even worse when they were friends. Ugggh.

Ohhh, that was the TV counterpart. I still have trouble matching most movie titles with their corresponding episodes. I don't like The Alexander the Greater Affair, precisely for some of the reasons you highlighted. Napoleon and Illya were just so completely ... useless in the climax. And the villain was just plain gross and his plan made absolutely no sense. I fail to see how breaking The Ten Commandments accomplishes anything other than making him utter slime. **headdesk.** You're right, Maude fits in perfectly with that absolute utter mess.
