I guess I can only try to convince you that the trailers look a whole lot more enticing when you can see them in person. ^^; There are a lot of familiar elements, but the characters feel surprisingly fresh (Ven aside). And technically Squeenix has never done a FF game based around a school, with a clear female lead character or with a boyband cast before, so there's some different stuff there (possibly not stuff that is actually a good idea, but they appear to be trying). But yeah - they've been so stingy with info on any of the FFXIII stuff that we can't do much more than guess and enjoy the shiney stuff just yet. Could go either way. I will continue to enjoy the shiney though, it is very good shiney!
I... can't say 'Noct' sounds at all like like 'naked' to me, and this is coming from someone who's still calling Snow 'Veryarse' right now. And the rest is a bit lost on a non-Latin student. ^^; I mean, if the Japanese can't use English without making idiots of themselves, why expect them to be better with anything else? It does sound exactly like 'knocked' though, which could have some bad implications... Noct around, Noct on the head, Noct up... maybe we should hope they will change it to Nox for the English release for the guy's own good >D
