Phoenix Wright fic
Just for a little variety from all the Guilty Gear and xxxHOLiC stuff up here lately…

pinneagig or I mention we finally got around to getting hold of the Phoenix Wright games a while back? As a rule most DS games don’t seem to appeal to me much, but I am pleased to say that all the good things we’d heard about this one were true (gay lawyer crack, FTW!), and a number of good things we hadn’t heard about the game turned out to be true too (plot! Really genuinely likeable, well developed main characters! A final case which messed with my head like nothing before it. Who gave them a list of all my weaknesses?!).
It does also have it’s moments of complete incomprehensibility and a tendency to drag out a lot while you hunt down the next event trigger-slash-unlikely piece of evidence that will prompt a Shocking Revelation! But in the name of Gay Lawyer Crack, we are willing to forgive.
Title: Better than nightmares
Pairing: Should count as mild Phoenix/Edgeworth
Rating: PG
Summary: The human subconscious is a dangerous place to spend the night.
Word Count: 320
Notes: Short and silly. Not spoilerish specifically, but presumably set after case 4 of the first game.
( On the morning of nearly every trial he’s has ever defended, Phoenix has woken up at 5:30 AM from a vivid nightmare in which he looks down in court to discover he isn’t wearing any clothes. )
