Skating and cosplay: Actually, let's not try to combine the two

I cannot remember the last time I was this tired.

This morning I had a skating competition - both of my events on the same day, in fact, which is not nice when you consider I'm usually pretty much buggered after one. Fortunately, there was a good few hours break between them and all went well. Got great marks across the board, even on my barely-finished creative dance routine (which probably says more about the mood the judges were in than my skating, but I'm hardly going to complain).

This afternoon, thanks to horrible coincidence of timing that scheduled the Final Fantasy cosplay meet up on the same day, Lisa and I piled ourselves into our our Yuffie and Tifa costumes and rushed into Perth. Arrived very late, but I don't think we missed anything too crucial and we both had a great time. I'm not even going to try to guess how many photos were taken - really looking forward to seeing how they all turn out. The conformer lost a little paint, but otherwise survived the afternoon without damage, and trying out different poses with it was a lot of fun. It got a some wonderful reactions from the other cosplayers there too, which really made my day.

I've now worn three different costumes in 24 hours, which is not a record I have any desire to break o_O. Off to bed now, I think.
