rallamajoop: Which reminds me - apparently we need to come up with a new name for Poyozo Dance + Black Order + Elixir Please.
jaseroque Yup.
I feel it should be Squeenix related.
rallamajoop: Squeenix or Guilty Gear, certainly.
(which is why I keep coming up with dumb stuff about BUCKLES)
jaseroque (*snicker* Buckles and zips, that is so true.)
(The Buckle Brigade! says my head. NO. says the rest of my head.)
rallamajoop: I always used to call my Gold Chocobo Buckle.
Short for chocobuckle.
....heeeeey.
jaseroque ....................... heeeeeeey.
What Chocobuckle isPut simply, an attack from the Final Fantasy series in which a
giant Chocobo falls from the sky and lands on whatever you're fighting. In FFVII you can learn it as an e-skill, and you also occasionally get a similar looking attack as a random event when you use the
chocomog summon. In FFVIII, it's the last of the four chocobo summon attacks you can learn. It's hellishly difficult to get in FFVIII, though it is also one of the most powerful attacks in the game (ie, one of very few that can break the 9999 limit. Also, believe me when I tell you that, considering how fast she knocks out your regular GF, crushing Ultimecia with a giant, humourous chocobo is a
very satsifying experience).
Why Chocobuckle is what we could be called1. Relates to Square Enix.
2. Relates to
Chocobos.
3. Relates to buckles.
4. Thanks to the buckles, also relates distantly to Guilty Gear.
5. It's an attack name (Ride the Lightning + Poyozo Dance)
6. It is a giant, massive thing of massiveness.
7. It falls from the sky and flattens EVERYTHING IN ITS PATH!
So that's our suggestion. What does everyone else think?
