rallamajoop: (Guilty Gear)
Wow, I was not counting on this fic taking so long to finish (whadya know, between that productivity-eating insomnia thing earlier this year and both me and my beta reader deciding to move house within the same couple of months the time just disappears). With this, I am finished at long last with all five WIPs from this post way back in November (the other four being The Story of Pants on a Stick, Collateral, Magma to Ash, and Will Not Rest (or, Rage) for the record), giving me an average of about one new GG fic every month. So, longer than I'd planned on, but put like that it doesn't actually sound so bad.

Must be about time to think about putting together a new WIP post in the near future. *g*

Anyway, repeating some of the intro I posted back with the first extract from this fic, you know those ideas you have which are fun to play with, but which you don’t seriously intend to do anything with because they seem just a little too obvious? Then suddenly you find them leaping on you out of the blue and demanding to be written, and you’ve got three pages down before you know what’s going on? This is one of those. Not dark fic in the usual sense, but easily the darkest from this whole bunch.

Title:Red
Summary: Sometime after the events of the Side Red/Side Black drama CDs, Sol catches just enough of a hint of I-no’s part in the Battle of Rome to draw all the wrong conclusions.
Rating: Probably approaching an R for violence and Sol’s usual language
Pairing: Some implied Sol/Ky, (though mostly just because I-no has a dirty mind)
Word count: 3210

As soon as he caught sight of a flash of red vinyl passing between two buildings on the edge of a newly cleaned battlefield, Sol knew he was in for a bad day. )
