Somehow it was so natural for Oruha and Yuuto to be the ones doing the negotiations and they just clicked together despite never meeting each other in canon.
They really did, didn't they? Better than I ever counted on them doing.
Yuzuriha really was an excellent choice for Fuuma to send along - handy with the animals, and about as utterly unthreatening as anyone he could have found. ^_^
