I certainly understand the problems inherent in canon, especially the old stuff, and wouldn't blame you for throwing it out the window.
I mean, it's one thing to not know who Domino is or suddenly have Deadpool be pretty for no explainable reason, but glossing over or throwing out the technical details of old back issues seems acceptable to me.
