I was wondering with every news article I read whether there was a international standard for hail size.

I thought it was cute when I read "gumnut sized hail" but then I wasn't sure if they meant honkynuts or those little once like Snugglepot and Cuddlepie have as hats...

Anyway.

Maybe there's an official scale. It could go something like, pea-sized, marble-sized, little-gumnut-sized, big-gumnut-sized, golfball-sized. For special occasions you could add tennis-ball-sized and football-sized*.

*But only if the world record is in danger.
