Time for an update on the moving situation, and it's all good news. The house still hasn't sold, so there's no huge pressure on us, but

pinneagig is employed again after the Interzone craziness and all settled into her new job up in record time, so that gave us two very good reasons to move, and a much better idea of which suburbs were going to be convenient. The even better news is that we found a place we liked last week, put in the application for it on Friday and got the call yesterday to say we'd been accepted! \o/

The happydancing will probably wear off by the time the horrible stress of getting everything ready for the move sets in, but for the time being we're still excited just to have found a place we're happy with.

We sign the lease officially on the 9th of April, and we're probably going to try to do the bulk of the moving the weekend after that. In the meantime, if there's anyone who could possibly hook us up with a pile of big cardboard boxes/other handy moving stuff, we would really love to hear from you.
