I've never really seen much of the series, but the movie looks god damn fantastic.
Doesn't it just? *g* We don't know yet whether it follows on from the series or works as some sort of AU, but it looks like watching the series first is neither a bad idea nor really prerequisite.
I guess you will just have to addict me to Firefly when I get back from Seattle
Sadly, all we can do to spread the addiction is offer encouragement and point you in the direction of a good DVD rental place - we don't actually have access to the DVDs or anything useful like that. They are so totally on this year's Christmas list though
