Anterior Compartment Update

Now that LJ appears (*fingers crossed*) to be past the worst of the latest round of DDOS attacks, I can make that post I meant to make to let people know that I'm doing a lot better. Saw the doctor on Tuesday and was told that my legs are healing up beautifully and given instructions to stop taking it easy and start pushing myself. So I'm off the crutches at last and even starting to take long walks around the neighbourhood, albeit more slowly and carefully than usual. Still sore and a little wobbly, but fortunately just standing or walking don't use the muscles in question all that much, and it is v. nice to be back on my feet again.

Not this weekend, but probably the one after. This weekend we have a bunch of other stuff complicating things (Lisa has to leave early, and she can't exactly leave me at Curtin while I still can't drive.) So we're still at our place for tomorrow.

Hope Pencafe goes well tomorrow night, I'll be seeing you guys next week with all my kimono stuff assuming I manage to remember ^^;

Speaking of kimono stuff, our Ichiroya order just came in! So much pretty fabric! Speaking of cosplay, did I mention yay contrats! for you guys getting through as a wildcard for Madman? Because if not I would just like to so so here. =D

Ha, that would make a very short week! ^^; But since we're probably going to be back at Curtin for next week, how would you feel about dropping around some evening during the week? Sooner, plus we would get to save ourselves carrying all that fabric over to our regular room and back.

uhm, fic-wise, not so much! Someone linked me to a fic the other week which was quite good and turned out to have been written by Aphelion_Orion, it's on her fic journal somewhere and I could probably dig it up for you again if you don't already watch her.

Other than that most of my "recs" would be "omg pixiv" because when I go to Min's place we inevitably end up sitting on pixiv trawling for delicious pictures.
