Technically, my birthday's the 23rd (this Sunday), but I've left it a bit late to organise anything for this weekend so I'll probably be putting it off for a week. So, what's everyone doing Sunday the 30th? I'm thinking of taking everyone rollerskating again, since I lack imagination and it won't take too much to organise. Whatever we do, it'll involve heading back to our place for food and whatnot afterwards - everyone'd be welcome to show up either/both parts depending on schedules/confidence on skates/whatever. And on that topic, all those of you cosplayers from Shasta's going away party way back when (lessee,![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
twinkl33, k_chan009, cescat, yiji_chan... have I missed anyone?) - if you can make it, I'd love to catch up with you guys again.
In other news, we finished KHII yesterday, and we're kind of in this nice happy place now where we're not sure whether we even want them to make another sequel, because it really is that hard to think imagine what they could do to top it. I won't go into too many specifics since I'm thinking the statute of limitations on spoilers on a game that new is still in effect (and I have already had my rant) but this much must be said - a lot of this game is like they had a checklist of things the I wanted to see but didn't seriously expect to. They may not have gotten quite to the end of the list, given that Kairi's purpose is still limited to being helpless and female somewhere in the background, but still: tons of final fantasy character stuff! Kick-ass tag-team battle combos! Actual continuity! Not to mention the whole damn ending section...
Those AC/KHII Yuffie and Tifa costumes we were talking about maybe-making-sometime suddenly got booted up the priority list rather a lot. Anyone surprised?
