Bandwagon jumping, FTW!

This is almost definitely the only Harry Potter fic I'm ever going to write. For anyone not already familiar with the whole "Snakes on a Plane" thing, the Wikipedia entry and the snakes_in_a_fic comm explain it much better than I would.

Drabble, exactly 100 words.


Snakes on a Broom

"DRACO MALFOY!" McGonagall’s voice came through the loudspeaker. "You are reminded that jinxes, hexes and all other magic are strictly forbidden on the Quiddich field. You are suspended from playing for the for the rest of the school year, and if you do not get that thing off Harry right this very minute, you can expect to have that extended to the rest of your natural life!"

His own broom weaving crazily through the air, Harry found just enough air to squeak, "Could you please loosen up a little?"

"Sorry." Said the snake, obliging. "I’m really not good with heights."

Thanks. The trouble with Harry Potter fic is that while I enjoy the series, it doesn't assult me with fic ideas the way the few series I write for do.

...Except, apparantly, when I run into the Snakes on a Plane comm after spending the morning writing cracked out KH crossover drabbles. I don't think we can count on this happening all that often. ^^;
