Heartless pattern - at long last!
Dec. 30th, 2006 03:34 amWay back when we posted our first pics of our homemade Heartless with the glowing eyes, we promised everyone we'd put together a pattern for it for anyone who wanted to have a go at making their own. Well, it may have taken us... shall we say, a bit more time than we'd planned - but at long last, the pattern is finally up.
So, without further ado:
The pattern (hosted over at deviantart) - It's been uploaded as a zip file, click the "Download" link in the left menu to get to it.
The instructions remain largely untested so far, so if there's anything unclear, feel free to send us questions, and we'll see what we can do to clarify things. Same thing goes if anyone has any advice of their own, such as places where people can track down some of those trickier materials (*cough*wire*cough*).

Original DA pics
More fun with random poses
In progress pics
More Christmas pics
We took a bunch of other random photos when we took the Christmas pics (because there's never any end to the fun you can have with a posable Heartless). Lisa felt she'd posted about enough pics of the Heartless lately though, so clearly it was up to me to share the rest of them. Apologies to anyone on slow connections, this post becomes a little image heavy from here on.

Even Heartless get to relax sometimes.

Gotta love the fact this thing can even hold up its own weight.

'You people done photographing me yet?'

Arms crossed, legs crossed, antennae crossed!

Loooom

Aw... for me?

And back to relaxing some more.
Just to finish, a couple of photos from Waicon, featuring the ever-fantastic
k_chan009 as Sora.

Heartless was barely visible against the background, unfortunately, but at least you can see those glowing eyes.

And one more, just so you can see them both clearly.
(Honestly, we did not get nearly enough photos of the KH group with this little guy at the con. We've definitely got to find a chance to remedy this in future.)

Date: 2006-12-31 05:52 pm (UTC)So~after being impressed with him and looking at all his pictures I went to your DA and browsed. I think your artwork is beautiful, you have a very creative mind! Your other plushies are cute too. You made a fizzgig, and that makes you awesome~ as a fellow artist, plushie maker, and traveler to nippon, mind if I friend you?
