Swancon and cosplay panel details

Swancon starts tomorrow afternoon! For those of you who were thinking about coming along, the prices are:

Full Membership - $130
Concession Membership - $110
Day Membership - $45

If there's a special price for the Masquerade only (which is Saturday night, btw), there's nothing about it on the website - probably day membership applies. The official website with the rest of the information is here.

I suspect that more cosplay may be the last thing a lot of us want to hear about right now, but in case I'm wrong, pinneagig, jaseroque and I will be running a panel on cosplay on Thursday night at 9:30 PM-10:30 PM. Not a great timeslot, but we're planning on bringing along a lot of stuff to show off and talk about, and we'd love to see people there (or, hell, anywhere at the con for that matter).

absolutely cannot wait to hear how your cosplay panel will be run girls!!
i don't know if i can make it tomorrow night but at this rate i am trying to do my best to make it for the weekend! would it be possible to film your panel?

I really don't know whether there'll be anyone there with a video camera - the best we could do is get a few minutes recorded on our camera, so I really don't think i can promise anything there. (And considering that we really don't know how well we're going to be able to pull off a panel at all, we might be more comfortable with it not being recorded. ^^;)

Yeah, I don't think I'll be attending Swancon this year. :/ Best of luck for the cosplay panel (although if you can record it like Cesca suggested I will totally watch it later) and I hope all the masquerade preparations go smoothly.

In other news, do you have my permanent marker lying around anywhere? I lent it to you guys on the first day to write on your CD and I'm not sure I got it back. The marks on my legs are fading pretty fast, so I'd kind of like to renew them at some stage. :)

We can see, but I really don't know whether we'll be able to find anyone with a video camera. I don't think Swancon panels usually get recorded, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to ask around at least.

I think we must still have it - it's probably still in Lisa's bag. We'll have a look later on today, hopefully we can get it back to you next time we see you.

(I have lines on my legs so that if I get pain I can measure my legs and make sure one of them isn't swelling, which would mean I had to go to hospital)
